Hello,

 

I didn't get, what is revit keynotes, i mean to say where exactly we can use this keynote and why? what is key value and keynote text?

 

Can anyone explain me please......

Regards Kumar,

 

The Keynotes purpose is to provide indications of building materials in views - specifically section and elevations.

There is a Keynote file ( text ) linking keynotes number to description of items, this text should be loaded for use.

Then Keynotes are assigned in the elevation, either manually or by material definition. It will look like a number for each material with leader line.

Then a Keynote Legend shall be shown in sheet, will look like:

 

1 - Painting on rendering

2 - IG glass unit

3 - Railing
