Aligning Project Base Point with Linked MEP Model Coordinates

I am working on a project where MEP is the prime, and they have established the project coordinates. We created our model without linking the MEP model, and now they have requested that we match their coordinates. How can I align our project base point with the linked MEP model to ensure proper coordination?

When I tried to modify the project base point properties to match, only the base point moved, and the building didn't follow accordingly. The base point reference for both models is correct, but I need to move the entire base point along with the building. How can I achieve this ?

Thank you for your assistance!

Project Base Point has nothing to do with Shared Coordinates. The Survey Point does. If you want your Projects to Share Coordinates, then Link the MEP into your Project, move the MEP Link to it belongs in relationship to your Project, and then press Acquire Coordinates. Save the Project.

...if you want the Project Base Points is the same location in both Project, then move the PBP - manually.  Save the Project and then have the MEP folks reload Link.

I moved MEP model, and then pressed acquire coordinates. It says "Acquire Coordinates Failed": Coordinates are not acquired. The selected link has same coordinates with the host model.

Go to Manage > location > reset shared coordinates.  Then you can re-acquire coordinates from the link.
