Align nested family with (angular) reference lines

Hello all,

Newbie question here: I'm trying to create a family that contains some nested families, and I experience some trouble when trying to align a family item to two reference lines (of which one is angular).

Any clues would be greatly appreciated!

Try hosting the Nested Family to an angled Ref. Line Work Plane and then Aligning/Locking it to the RL.  The Nested Family needs to have Work Plane-Based checked for this to work.

I see now that the screencast in my original post didn't show up. Here's a link for anyone interested:

Thanks for your reply Barthbradley. Unfortunetaly, I didn't get it to work. I'm still struggling. I tried to set the "Work Plane-Based" switch, but I'm getting the following error message: "Couldn't find an appropriate Host. Try selecting a different Host Face or switch Placement Mode." when I use that.

Could you please have a look at my set-up?

Well, after some very time consuming hours, watching tutorials et cetera, I found out that best thing to do is to stay away from angular constraints at all. Whatever you do: It's always troublesome. So I decided to redesign my family, and it's all working now.
