Adjust Reference Plane In Section

I drew a reference plan in section at an angle that I want my sloped beam system to be at. I now want to adjust that angle slightly. Is there a quick way to do that? I can easily move the reference plane up and down, but rotating it didn't seem to work.

Not really, redrawing the reference plane is the easiest.

However, You could have used a reference line instead.

  1. you can lock/pivot one of its ends,
  2. assign an angle parameter to it or easily change its angle in Section view
  3. And use it's planes for Hosting elements (Tab over to select either the X Plane or the Y one)

If you already have many elements hosted to the reference plan you can add an angular dimension to the reference plan and use that to drive it or you may draw a detail line to the exact place you need the reference plan and align the reference plan to the detail line. The rotate tool works as well, just move the blue pivot point to the end of the reference plan to control it from one end.

...it doesn't? Guess you probably have some elements referencing it then that prevent that... easiest to redraw it, or copy and then rotate, that should work usually...
