Additional Library

Hi all,

I am using Revit 2018. I am  trying to install an Australian library .

I have downloaded the AUS library and it was placed to:

C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\RVT 2018\Libraries

However, I didn`t get any Australian objects in the job.

I have read the forum treads and Autodesk help such as:

https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/revit-products/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles...

and others

I added the library as "new library" in Options / File Location / Places

Nothing changes

Then I removed the default imperial library from the library folder and updated the path of the default library to be the Australian library folder (refer a screenshot attached).

Still no luck and I still have only imperial library objects (windows as an example)

I can load the AUS library parts under the object setting one by one but not the entire folder.

Appreciate any feedback.

@Anonymous's reply is way overkill and may not give you the desired results.

The families will not be available "in the job" until they are loaded into the file.

Drafting is a breeze and Revit doesn't always work the way you think it should.

@RobDraw @Anonymous I had assumed the issue is that the libraries were blank, but the folders were present. @Anonymous are you just trying to see all the families in your project? If so, @RobDraw is right, they have to be manually loaded as the family folder is merely a reference.

You need to install the library after downloading it.
