Adding custom generic element ( Lintel) into schedule

Hello all. I have created a door family with lintel. The lintel is a generic element attached to the custom door family. But i cannot add tag/Label on the lintel (generic model).
There's a popup saying "there's is no tag loaded for Generic Models..Do you want to load one now"

So i added a generic model element tag. But cannot rename it. Warning shows "You are changing a type parameter. This could affect many elements".....
How to remane it as Lintel and add onto schedule? It would be concrete lintel material. So i want to calculate that onto schedule separately from the door family.
Attached are the door and lintel family files.

I assume you are getting this warning sign when you change the mark. I would click on Yes and proceed. I didn't run into problem doing this.

As for schedule renaming, go to the family editor>generic model. There you should be able to rename your family type.

I don't see the lintel family nested into the door family, there is an extrusion that is representing it in the door.  If you want to have it as a separate family nested into the door, but want to be able to tag is separately, it needs to be shared.

In regard to the error you are getting when tagging the lintel, that is because the tag is using the type mark parameter, which means all of that type in the model would change.

i think i got it. I have to modify the main lintel family into a family category. then reload to the door family. Then to the project. Then, there's no error. But the problem is if i make the lintel family category-suppose structural framing, then on schedule, it is included into the main beam(structural framing) schedule. How can i have a separate schedule just for lintel!
