Adding annotations to a family that display on a plan/elevation

Hi all, I was attempting to try and get something like this to work. I want to add a parameter to add a text annotation that displays when viewing in a view or plan.

Reason behind it was I want it to appear in internal elevation views as a alternative labelling mechanism where I can put a label on each element of the family. Below is what I am trying to achieve. GR = Guard Rail

It's a limitation. A workaround is to Tag the Family in Elevation View IN THE PROJECT.

Ok so its not possible to do that in the family? Reason being is that i want to save time having to tag the family in each view and also the family is made of multiple parts that I want labeled. So toilet, guard rail, back rest etc. I assume you cant have a tag for each part of the family if its within the same one?

Create each components as a shared family, nest them in the master family, then you can TAB to tag individual components in the project.

The components would need to be nested, shared Families within the Parent Family. Then you could TAB-Select and Tag them individually in the Project.

...Tag All will also tag Nested, Shared Families. That might work as an alternative to TAB-Selecting one at a time.
