add control to lighting fixture placement

Can I add a control /instance parameter so as to move lighting fixture and pendant cable (cable length unchanged , controlled by other parameter) altogether as one part "A" in relatively to the reference plane?

Sure.  Align and Lock all Geometry to Reference Planes and then drive the Ref. Planes with Labeled Dimensions.

I did it as you advised. I can control the length of cable and the elevation of fixture now. It is to use bypass the annoying sloped roof. Thanks!
