Add bubble/box to end of leader

Is there a way to add a square of fixed size to the end of this line, rather than showing the border which produces inconsistent border sizes depending on the character.

Not really.  Solution would kill rather than cure.

Yes if you use keynote or tag.

Is text the only option for adding these to sheets, rather than views? I am trying to tag multiple views on an elevation sheet.

Text is not the only option to annotate on sheets.  You can always place generic annotation families on sheet, which you can add the box or whatever shape you like.  Also, not understand why you can't tag in views?  You want one tag pointing at different views?
