Add a View Reference Parameter to a family

Hi, I would like to add a view reference parameter to a family in a schedule with detail number and sheet number.  So far I know this is only possible in Windows and door Families. It would be great to have this parameter to other families, rather than just doors and windows. It is there any workaround?

Are you talking about a text parameter for filling Detail No/ Sheet No. manually on a schedule, or the View reference hyperlink that opens the actual view?

If the former, then simply edit the parameter in the project parameter list and assign it to other categories (tick boxes).

If the latter, then I don't think it can be done within the Revit capacity, with Dynamo or Add-ins maybe.

HI, thank you for your answer. I meant a real view reference, something you click and it takes you to the detail for that element. I tried a text, but it has some problems. If the detail changes or it is removed, the text doesn't change, and there may be errors.

Where do you see it is doable for door and window families?

You cannot add live links to view references in components schedules.
