Adaptive void nested family doesn't work

I'm trying to create perforated facade panels. I created 2 families based on an adaptive model;

1. void cylinder;

2. panel with repeater on the top face.

The problem is that the cylinder doesn't cut panel. Face based family work properly but it doesn't work with repeater tool. What am I supposed to do?

Create a pattern based curtain panel family with the void cutting the panel and apply it on a divided surface.

I see what you are trying to do. Use a void as a repeater to punch holes. No can do. But you could create a panel shaped like the one shown in screenshot to effectively produce the same results.
