Adaptive family: Unable to create form element: self-intersecting or singular geometry would result.

Hello I'm trying to create an adaptive wall that can curve in both the x, y, and z axis however my profile does not seem to want to create a shape even when its in a straight line. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Do you want the wall to be curved like in my picture or segmented like your path?

your picture is exactly what I was going for, I need it to curve along a path and then down like you have it.

Then place the adaptive profile family on every node, select them (not the green segmented path, in fact you don't need the path at all) and create form.

thanks for the help earlier, it doesn't seem to want to host to the wall now, is there something I'm doing incorrectly? I'm going into plan and clicking along the edge but I get the error "Could not generate references for Family Instance." should I create a new post for this?

Your adaptive profile family is not hosted properly at the 1st point.  Fix it and it will place just fine in the project.

- Set all 12 Adaptive Points to Instance (xyz)

- Set the family to Always Vertical

This is the answer I am looking for which also solved my problem of revit refusing to form a solid for 2 different profile with reference line as their path in between
