adaptative linear light

Hi all.. 

I'm tryin' to build a linear light, which is insert on a "U" profile. Actually the lights on this profile are put every 120cm. 

So I did the single lamp (45 cm) with an adaptative model, then I insert it inside other ataptative model with the U profile (after divide the line in segments of 120 cm). 

the profile seem works! but in the and of the segment appear a lamp. why? How can I avoid it? thank you!

You need to make the divided path 1200 mm shorter than the channel.

Is there a way to obtain that the object is always horizontal or always vertical? 

When I insert the light inside the model it is never horizontal or vertical..
