Currently I am working on a project where the walls all have specific kinds of wall paper. I am displaying these patterns by creating a grid of decals on a wall surface. One of the requirements is that the images be 30 dpi. When rendering the project in full detail (with about 40 square feet of decal surface), my system is slowing down greatly.
I am wondering if there is a better alternative to displaying a texture image (png format) on a wall that will help Revit render more efficiently. I'm also wondering if there are settings I can change within Revit to help me out. Revit does not appear to be taking advantage of the full capabilities of my machine.
