ADA symbolic lines not following wall thickness

i have created my symbolic lines in my door family, set constraints to identify the width and depth for varying door sizes. the symbolic lines do not respond to the wall thickness when loaded into project.

Hi,

 

Constrain these reference planes to your wall in the family editor:

Also constrain your symbolic lines here to the reference plane:
