i have a single door family I would like to apply symbolic lines that represent the clearance dimensions
each type would be controlled by a yes / no parameter to display as needed
It would need to flex with the door size
1.Front approach push / Pull
2.Side Hinge Approach Push / Pull
3.Side Latch Approach Push / Pull
3a.3b.Side Approach with Closure / Without Closure.
I have set up the clearance limits for each but when I apply them to the door boundaries (reference Planes) i get a series of overlapping lines and over constraint issues.
My question is :without making a long list of door types by size and clearance requirement what would be the most effective approach to having this set up work?

the only shared Reference plane is the hinged side Reference that 3 of the 5 actually share and the wall thickness reference planes
