I have tried to download the program and when I do the two process that need to be downloaded fail. What could be some of my problems that's blocking my downloading process.

Which product and version were you trying to download? If you're just trying to download the installer and already have your license information, try downloading from the Virtual Agent instead. Check out the instructions here on Installing Autodesk products from the Virtual Agent.

we did a download recently - and in order for it to go smoothly we had to disable the 'security agent' for the duration of the download and install - otherwise some libraries went to the 'wrong' place and some were missed entirely
