During level creation, line selection (reference/ model) by only pick lines method, one error is continuously disturbing i.e. 'A fatal Error has occurred. The application will be terminated. You have the opportunity to save recovery files for all of your changed projects. Would you like to save recovery file?'. I tried several options like Graphics settings, Revit settings, Antivirus Settings even I updated my Revit 2018 software by Autodesk Desktop App, but no any solution found. Please look into this matter and give the proper solution on that.

Hi @Anonymous

I see that you are a new visitor. Welcome to the Autodesk community! Smiley Happy

Please see the solutions in this article:  Error: "A fatal error has occurred. The application will be terminated." while using an Autodesk pro... and let me know if this helps!

If you still run into issues, please send us your journal file to test further, and submit a Customer Error Report (see Customer Error Reporting (CER)) containing an e-mail address along with a description of the workflow leading up to the crash and then log a support request with Autodesk Technical Support.

Looking forward to your reply update.

I checked your recent reply...According to your posted link, I don't know
My graphics card is suitable or not for Revit; But I checked NVIDIA
graphics settings as well as Revit graphics settings and I already used
Revit with and without Hardware Acceleration settings. And sorry to say
again, no change i.e. fatal error. In forum, Some people was saying check
'Audit' option during opening file and I also tried this option but no
response.

Hi,

After I create a building model without any errors and set all spaces and zones, I got this error "A fatal error has occurred. The application will be terminated", so I can share my file to solve this problem.

thanks
