700+ MB file IFC Export

Hello, I'm trying to export a 700 MB revit file to IFC. I tried this with 2019 but it would crash right after trying to export the model and then I switched to Revit 2024 to export it but this version just gets stuck at "not responding". What am I supposed to do now? How can I export this revit file to IFC without using any paid software? 

While I was writing this post, revit 2024 crashed as well....phew...

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

My PC specs are i5-12500 and 16GB of RAM.

Hi,

Can you first open the file with Audit? and then try to export the file to IFC?

I will try that and give an update. Another thing I want to add is that the Revit file has some imported elements (generic models) from tekla. Let's hope that's not messing up the export?

I tried exporting just the link file (Tekla revit link file) and it seems that's the issue. It's getting stuck during exporting.
