I use the 3D view to model quite extensively. However, in this project I have imported a point cloud, set the true north based on that point cloud, and then rotated the project north to line up with the front of the building.
Everything seems fine, but when I start to model a roof in the 3D view, it automatically sketches according to the true north. I need to model according to the project north. Please see the screen cast below:
