Weird curtain wall (roof) offset of the panels

Hello

I need to model a inclined roof and i like to use a curtain system for it. So i used the roof modelling tool an draw a line in a section view. I change the properties of the roof to curtain wall. What happens is that there is an offset of the roof to my modelled extrusion line as you can see here: (Red line is the extrusion line)

When i check properties: it says that it is 0.1m thick? Where does this come from?

When i check the glazing panels:

There is no offset and the glazing thickness is 0.002m

Here the curtain wall type properties:

So what am i missing? I just want that it creates the roof there where i place the extrusion line

Im happy if somebody can help.

regards david

Curtain Walls are composed of Mullions and Panels which have a specified thickness and depth and offset from the Center Line of  Curtain Wall. Does that help your understanding?

Hi

so far i understand the concept. But where can i change that :ausdrucksloses_Gesicht: ?

When i draw a curtain wall with the wall tools. I can exactly set the offset of the panels. It seems that it doens not apply when i use the roof modelling tools.

regards david
