3d view to scale?

we have a 3d view on a sheet. the properties to the view says its to scale 1:50 - however its patently obviously not since there are plans and elevs on the same sheet to 1:50 and they are nowhere near....... how do we make it so?! is it possible?

Are you looking at the model at an angle?

If you're looking horizontally/vertically at the model, the length will be correct.  (if you click on the View Cube on Front/Left/Top... the lengts will be by scale)

When you're looking at an angle, the lines will obviously be shorter.

There's no isometric view in Revit.
