Let's say I want to produce a 3d wall mountable logo - say the golden arches.... the equivalent of model text --- only a free form drawn profile and not a canned letter ?

I recommend this way: illustrator > explode into outline > export to dwg > load dwg in Revit > generic model extrusion with pick lines

Hi

Import Image in CAD..

Trace it..

Use that in Revit to Extrude..

In revit - you can use direct Raster Image if you just want to show images on wall

or any surface... restriction is, its only visible in Realistic or Render mode..
