So I modeled this stair case, but the client wants a 3' smooth guardrail on the interior side, very chic(?).
My solution was to model in place the guardrail with a blend sweep. A simple Polyline following the inside perimeter. Then Finish with the 2 end faces of the sweep.
But that gave me a undulating finish.
To be honest, I was not expecting that. I already tried doing little segment using the 3 point curve and while that does produce a even finish on top, some of the segments wont join to form a cohesive uniform wall.
Anyone got a simple or clever solution?
