schedule conditional formatting api

I cannot find the Revit api to apply conditional formatting in a schedule. I'm beginning to believe it does not exist.

I've had a search and I tend to agree with you.

You can see if colour formatting is applied (SheetBackgroundColor/BackgroundColor), but not set it conditionally.

You can obviously override it manually, but that's not very helpful.

is there an api to override a specific cell' color? I would be happy with that and I can program my own conditionals.

I am not sure whether it is limited to sections (such as titles), or is available for all cells.
A good test is probably to try to do it in the interface.
