I have a very simple scene with a light (Pendant Light - Linear - 1 Lamp) and ceiling and walls. If I do not select any object in scene and export. It works well in just seconds.
But if I select the light and in the state ready to move it, Revit runs like mad CPU goes up to 33% and after about a few minutes then it pops up an exception dialog. Saying,
Autodesk.Revit.Exceptions.ExternalApplicationException:“Object reference not set to an instance of an object.”
If I skip the exception and export again, this time it runs quick, but it still shows the same exception.
How to avoid this?
