Overlay render in Revit

Quick question for community members, using the Revit API is it possible to display an icon on top of the model a bit like navisworks does with the overlay render? See example below :

Your request might be archived by the DirectContext3D, it's an API for displaying external graphics in the context of a Revit model, please check it out:
