.NET SDK 8.0 path not recognised in Revit 2025

Hello,

Trying to get the Revit Macros to work in Revit 2025.

The path to the ".NET dotnet.exe" file appears to be unrecognized, despite its existence.

Anyone else experiencing this? And were you able to fix it?

TIA

Are you sure you have installed .NET 8.0 SDK and referencing correct version? I had to manually install the .net update to 8.0 & it all worked well on my side

You could use the command dotnet --list-sdks to show all the sdk installed in the machine and version.

In my only have the version 8.0.101 sdk.

Thank you all. A reinstall did the trick.

Thank you @ricaun

This was helpful. For some reasons, it did not get installed the first time.

FYI:  I believe you also have to restart Revit after editing the paths.  (Or maybe it's after installing the SDK.)
