Manage project files in a folder

I know nothing about the Revit API but I was wondering if it was possible to create a script that will access revit project files in a folder then purge and turn on file compression for each file.

I know this type of thing could be done with VBA for Autocad and ACA.

Revit API certainly provides the options of developing such Add-ins .

Can you be more specific in what exactly is needed. Is there anything about deleting any model elements .. or want to retain some Views etc.. etc.

I am really only wanting to clean up our archived project files and save drive space without having to open and purge hundreds of files manually.

This attached archives is a small program which you can use to purge .rfa and .rvt files from a selected folder.

it contains both the source code as the executable. Hope it helps

Use this .zip files instead of the first one which contained a small mistake....
