Hi,
I am trying to create a custom file based point cloud engine. So as an experiment, I compiled the PointCloudEngine sample from Revit 2018 SDK to see how it works. I am able to compile the add-in correctly and even output the serialized XML as instructed in Point Cloud Overview blog post. But when I try to insert the point cloud, I don't see XML file format in the dropdown list. Below's a short video explaining the issue in a little more detail. Please let me know how this issue can be fixed.
