How to create offset solid geometry for fittings (pipe/duct fitting)

Hello,

I have some fittings(pipe/duct) from linked files and want to extract the solid with some offset. As I have done some research for offset then only found the offset curves method.  I have tried to offset the face also but the resultant geometry is wrong. I want a valid method that will create offset geometry for solids directly. Please let me know if we have anything in the API that will fulfill my requirements.

Nope, sorry, I am not aware of any such functionality in the Revit API. I suggest you make use of some additional geometry library that provides what you need. Please let us know what solution you end up with. Thank you!
