How to create a calculated field with a formula in Revit 2017.
I'm going crazy. In many sites indicate that you can not (In versions prior to 2017) But, you can in the 2017 version? Could someone tell you how?
I get continuous errors if I try to create it with:
[ObjScheduleView] .Definition.AddFiel (Fieltype = FieldType.Formula, ParamId)
FieldType.error
An example, please. I need to delete and re-create a Planning Table and you can create and configure all fields except the calculated field that must total one of the existing fields.
Thank you very much.

Dear Alberto,
Thank you for your query.
I see an open wish list item in the development database for this functionality: CF-1731 [API wish: add formula field to a schedule -- 09945558, 12719326].
I would therefore assume that you cannot achieve it programmatically at the moment.
I am checking with the development team, for safety's sake, and also added a note of your request to the existing wish list item.
I hope this helps.
You should also ensure that your request is listed in the Revit Idea station, and get many votes for it to underline its importance.
Thank you!
Best regards,
Jeremy
I do want Revit schedule can create a calculated field with a formula, it's useful and practical.
Best wish to Revit, thanks the team and Jeremy if this problem can be solved.
I am not aware of any news.
Have you looked at the Revit Idea Station wish list item and voted for it?
It’s a pity that no changes happened, it would help a lot. Of course, I voted, but so far has not worked.
I also wrote a letter to Santa with this and other top ideas, to increase the chances 🙂
Happy New Year!
