How to Automate Repetitive project in Revit (Same components, diff project)

I want to take the initative of automating a repetitive project. The project is interior based with an exisiting shell. I am new to computation and hence want guidance in how to start thinking about this project and what steps to take. 

Project 1 and project 2 (same typology, different location and area) follow these rules:

Characteristics changing: 

1. spatial arrangment of rooms

2. Area of rooms

3. Door numbering

Characteristics staying the same:

1. Type of rooms

2. Components used in each room (for e.g parameter fence of a cage)

3. wall types

4. door types

5. Keynotes

I work with .NET C# Revit add-0ins myself, but possibly Dynamo may be a more accessible starting point for a programming newbie.
