family placement level

Hi,

A bit strange thing a observed. When I am placing a family instance [non hosted] manually it remains on the level[level1] on which i create it

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------level2

                                                                                                 * [family instance]

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------level1

but when I place via code:

NewFamilyInstance(XYZ location,FamilySymbol symbol,Level level,StructuralType structuraltype)

the family instance always goes below level 1

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------level2

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------level1

                                                                                                 * [family instance]

Thanks & Regards

Dear Mustafa,

Thanks for your valuable time.

I was making a mistake while passing the z value which I found out and rectified it.

Thanks & Regards
