Drawing Dimension Using Revit Apis

so i have an unexpected behaviour , when i draw dimensions through specific elements the dimensions are placed correctly with correct  value and orientation , but when i make any change to the type of the dimension that will never make any effect to the human eye even a minor change the dimension get slopped alot and changes that value and direction of dimension line , anyone have experienced the same behaviour or know how to overcome that ?

Yes, in my case, one of the dimension references was a linear reference—specifically a Face. This face was transverse to the dimension line, so when the dimension was moved, it would "correct" itself to align with the face’s direction. The issue was resolved by changing the reference from Face to Edge.
