Cut a cable tray or a conduit with revit api.

Does anybody know how to cut a cable tray or a conduit at a certain point in dynamo?

How do you do it in the user interface?

 

If it cannot be done, then the API will hardly support it either.

 

If it can:

 

What modifications happen to the database when you do?
