Create a new ceiling

The comments on the post http://thebuildingcoder.typepad.com/blog/2012/03/revit-2013-and-its-api.html suggest that ceilings can't be created from the API.

I can't find anything to suggest this was enabled in 2014.  Can this please also be added to a wish list to be implemented?

I´m trying to create all ceilings from room boundaries and I don´t know if there is any way to do that through the API. Is it possible? If not can you add it to the wish list?

Hi Harry and others,

I'm adding the ID for the wish here (to make sure we are consolidating the voices): 

CF-191  As an add-in developer, I need the ability to create and manipulate Ceiling properties, so I can automate basic design workflows.

I know this is one of highly demanded feature. 

As a side note, and in a way good timing -

We (Revit team, product support team, and ADN team) are actively discussing about starting Idea Station for Revit. Personally, I'm pro for this idea. I believe it will help better organize and prioritize the need for community.  To make most out of it, we are laying out the process among three teams.  Stay tuned for future notice.
