connectivity of the element with the network

Hi,

I have a plugin to change the level and offset of the elements (familyinstance class like pipe fittings) in a way to keep them in the same location. It works OK for most of them, but for some few elements I receive this error:

The family is connected in a network and can no longer keep the connectivity. Disconnect the family from the network?

I have compare the boundingbox of the element before and after running the plugin and made sure that the element is in the exact same location. Does anyone has a clue?

Thanks for you hep.

Nope, sorry.

Do you observe the same behaviour when performing the same operation manually through the end user interface?

Hi Jeremy,

yes the behavior is the same. Then maybe I should ask in another forum?

Yes, probably the Revit MEP forum would be a more effective place to explore this.
