Adapt Project Parameters Addition to Specific Parts

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to figure out a way to customize the way my shared parameters are added to my parts.

For example, if it's a part of a floor i would like to add floor specific shared parameters (e.g i created a parameter to know whether wiremesh is used or not) , or if it's a part of a wall to add wall specific parameters (e.g the type of finish used). Hence, i don't want my wall finish type parameter to be added to my floor part! Is there a method to add parameters to types or subcategories, not the whole category?

as far as I know:

No.

I there is no need to make the parameters' information visible for the user,

you could either hide the parameter or you could use ExtensibleStorage to add your information to the parts.
