We map curb and gutter, walls and sidewalks by manually picking scan points to create feature lines. We need the Autodesk linear feature extraction tool in Civil 3D or Recap Pro Desktop Version. But ultimately in Civil 3D because we draft everything we need in that program. This will absolutely streamline our process and save time. Uploading our point cloud to construction cloud or purchasing and Infraworks just to do feature line extraction is inefficient.
