Hi, I've been using Recap and Recap Pro for 4+ years and in that time I have seen no change in optimisation of the program. I predominantly use it for 'cleandowns' of detailed photogrammetric and lidar point clouds. Everytime, and I must stress this, EVERYTIME!!! I use the software I experience multiple crashes. Most of the time the crashes occur during viewport navigation but I even experience crashes following 'clean' export and re-openning of the model. As such, I lose hours of work time each time I use Recap. You'd think this would be down to running too large of projects within Recap however, even the smallest of projects experience frequent and unnecessary crashes. Recommendations/Ideas: Optimise the program! Provide better crash reports other than just indicating that your graphics card needs updating.... Provide indication whether a model is too large for Recap to run correctly. Enable 'recovering' of model following a crash. Optimise the 'optimisation save' - The more I save and optimise, the more unstable the software becomes.
