Recap Pro File Registration Disappeared After Crash

Hi all, I was working on a recap project file, I had imported another set of scans from a separate project, registered them and clicked index scans. As it was doing this, it crashed. I reopened the file and I can no longer access the registration button, my 'Realview' button at the bottom of the screen has also disappeared so I can no longer look at the photos in each scan station. I have no idea what has happened! Can anybody offer some advice please? Thanks!

Sorry to hear about it.

It looks like the .rcp file is messed up, which causes the structured scan information loss.

There are some .rcp backup files in the same folder of the original .rcp file.

Could you try to rename those files into .rcp file to see if it brings back the structured scan information?

If not, you can try go back to registration view, remove one scan from the registration group and re-register them.

At the worst case, you have to create a new project and reimport the two projects and register them.

I am sorry for the inconvenience it caused. Saving a backup rcp file helps to go back to the original status in the worst case that the program crashes.

Best,

Yan
