Autodesk^® ReCap Update version 2.2.1.1

This release note contains the latest information regarding the installation and use of this update. For updating ReCap 360 & ReCap 360 Ultimate versions please scroll below.

This update applies to the following products:

What is included?

This update contains the following fixes:

Install the latest FARO SDK (5.5.0.44203) by default.

Fix issue where some E57 files won't import due to missing fields.

Add workaround for AutoCAD issue with smart snapping to some RCS files.

Fix issue where intensity could be incorrect for some points.

Fix issue where custom range filters could have no effect.

Fix crash issue by disabling Update Origin during indexing.

Fix issue where deleting a scan restores optimized points.

Fix intermittent crash/hang during Unified RCS export.

Fix intermittent crash due to I/O or network failure during some 3D operations.

Fix issue where complete E57 export did not keep survey coordinates.

Fix regression in multi scan PTG import.

Installation Instructions

You must have administrative privileges on your Microsoft^® Windows^® operating system to complete the installation process.

1. Updating Autodesk ReCap on a single computer:

a. Using Application Manager:

Ensure ReCap version 2.2.0.25 is installed on the computer.

Launch Autodesk Application Manager from the system tray or from Start -> Autodesk -> Autodesk Application Manager.

Click on the 'Updates' tab; Autodesk ReCap 2016 v2.2.1.1 should be visible in the list.

Click on 'Install'. The new update will be downloaded and installed. Current version 2.2.0.25 will be updated to version 2.2.1.1.

b. Direct download & install:

Ensure ReCap version 2.2.0.25 is installed on the computer.

Download ReCap update (version 2.2.1.1) from the following link: http://up.autodesk.com/2016/RECAP/AutodeskReCap_2.2.0.25_to_2.2.1.1_x64.msp

Double click on AutodeskReCap_2.2.0.25_to_2.2.1.1_x64.msp

Follow the installation instructions on the screen. ReCap's current version 2.2.0.25 will be updated to version 2.2.1.1.
