Reality Solutions Capture Codec Kit(CCK) debug problem

Hello,

I'm trying to use 'RealitySolutionSDK' sample that included in 'Reality SDK'. I've followed 'CCKUsersGuide.dpf' instruction to build the samples. However, I've consistently receiving MSB3073 error as shown below.

As a instructions, I've referenced RCPCreatorSample to the E57Codec and LasCodec. Then tried to build the project, but it gives the error as mentioned.

For IDE information, I'm using Visual Studio 2015 update 3 as recommended in 'CCKUsersGuide' documentation.

Is there a specific way that I can successfully build the sample project?

Hi @Anonymous ,

To build the sample creator project, you can use the codec .rcip files provided in the SDK.

LasCodec and E57Codec project cannot be built directly. Please refer to the attached document on how to build the sample codec projects.

We have a separate forum for Reality Solutions SDK:

https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/reality-solutions-sdk-group/gp-p/6025

Thanks,

Yan

Hello Yan.fu

Thank you for your solution to the problem.

After following the instructions that you gave me, there is a two simple problems.

1. For building LasCodec solution, it constantly giving me LNK2001 error as shown below.

2. While following the build process for E57Codec, the pdf document doesn't let me scroll to left to see farther file path for setting additional libraries and dependencies as shown below.

Thanks,

Hi @Anonymous ,

Do you mean the std::_Debug_Message error?

Looks like compiler issue. Which version of Visual Studio are you using?

Thanks,

Yan

Hello Yan,

my final goal for this project to built a file conversion application from fls file to rcp file.

fls file type is a file type that was created from the company called, FARO, and I'm just wondering does RECAP SDK supports file conversion from fls to rcp?

Because it supports the file conversion from xyz to rcp.

Sincerely,

Oliver

Currently, we don't provide .fls codec in the SDK package.
