I have a point cloud (rcp file) from a scan of the inside heavily deformed corrugated metal pipe culvert. I want to cut cross sections, preferably at a common interval, to display any imperfections in the pipe. Any suggestions on how to do this?
I took the cloud and converted it to a mesh but I cannot create a solid object. I think this is because there are too many overlapping points.
