Real View Image Quality

I'm having issues getting Real View Images to be of good quality in ReCap. They look great in Leica Register 360. I have then imported them to ReCap as PTG files. They come across, but the quality isn't good. I've also tried exporting as e57 from Register 360 and those images in Real View look like they are just stretched and skewed and not readable at all. They have all been taken/scanned with the BLK360. I have attached all 3 images. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Eric Bogenschutz

I never got any resolution, scrapped any use of ReCap for this and bit the bullet on Leica Publisher Pro to be able to create real high quality images and LGS files. Too bad Autodesk can’t fix their own tools when bugs have been reported MONTHS AGO!

A fix has been included in ReCap 6.0 to address the blurry image issue for e57 file.

Just to ensure the diminished quality is because of ReCap and not lost some place in your work process.

Hi @eric_bogenschutz 

 

I'm having a similar issue. The RealView on ReCAP does not show the HDR images I took from the RTC360 scanner. I've imported my files into recap as .e57. Do you have any advice on how I can get around this issue for a better quality.

Also having this issue.  would have been great if this was resolved before making it impossible to import from your blk360 directly!!

I'm suffering the same issue. The problem was reported years ago. Is there any solution?

Hi @j.apraiz ,

 

We are sorry for your experience.

We have made some fixes for e57 in the past releases. If you are still experiencing the same issue, could you share your sample e57 file for us for investigation?
