Is there a way to make it easier to work with a large number of point clouds from within Recap and Civil3d.
I am working on a transportation project which has 100+ point clouds to cover the alignment for around 50gB worth of data. I would like to be able to create a single recap project .rcp with all the areas and have recap or Civil3d only download the clouds that are turned on.
When I create a project file with many point clouds both Recap and Civil3d by default want to load all point clouds in the project. Would there be a way to tell these applications to fetch only the files that have the visibility turned on?
It would make it faster to view and possible to share point cloud files for viewing on the network.
