Multiple Users

Is it possible, for two or more users, to open the same .RCP files at the same time? From a shared directory, stored on a server...

We're currently having some issue with Recap where the software would hang in the opening process... Trying to troubleshoot right now...

Thanks.

Hi @JFN_KSH
Multiple users will not be able to open one project at the same time.
You can try creating a blank project on each user's computer and importing RCP from the server into it.
When a file is changed on the server, users will see the changes in their files.

Our users are typically have limited HDD space on their local workstation (250GB). Using this method, will it copy the support folder to their C:\ drive? Our project is about 460GB... Thanks!

Unfortunately, I have no way to check, since I work locally or in the cloud.
But I noticed that the empty project support file into which the main file is imported is much smaller.
I did all this on my hard drive, try uploading a small project and test my theory.

Ok, I tried it & this is a great workaround... The local support files are much smaller... It does not copy all the support files locally, which is great... Thanks!
