ERO108

I am having a hell of a time with ReCap and it might all just be down to registration confusion?

I paid for the product and inserted the serial number and product code into ReCap (after googling for the product code, why is it not in the receipt email or just built into the product?????)

But I still got a "your account supports 50 images per project. subscribe to ReCap 360, or remove 21 to continue." error when trying to make a Photo Project. I poked a lot of buttons and refreshed and re-logged in a ton of times. Eventually this error went away and it started uploading the whole project. Then after finishing the upload I got "project failed      there was a problem with submission    ER0108"

If I try to restart the upload process I now again get the "your account supports 50 images per project. subscribe to ReCap 360, or remove 21 to continue." error!

This seems like a great product marred by insane liscencing processes.

Can someone please get me out of this liscencing quagmire!

Hi Colin,

Sorry for your trouble. Our team is taking a look into this at the moment and will replay shortly.

If you purchased Pro very recently it might mean that your account is still not synced.

We'll make sure to let you know as soon as we have more info.

Hello Colin,

Sorry about the problems you are having.

Could you please send us your contract number, registered email id and contact details on devang.shah@autodesk.com

Once we take a look at your contract details, I can setup a meeting at a convenient time to take a look at what might be the issue .

Thanks,

Devang

I have no license or contract...I´m just using the free trial that you offer for testing the software

And I have the same problem

....I have the same error (again and again and again) with only 69 photos...

And the problem always appear at the very end, at 99%, when it is submitting

The uploading process seems to be ok

Could I have some help please?

THANKS IN ADVANCE...

Here is the screen shot of what I got...

BTW, everything is up to date...

And I´ve tested different group of pictures, with different configurations and cameras, and even a group of pictures that is shared as an example to get 3D from pictures and it has been tested before with other software and work...

What else can I do?

It is always at 99% at the submission process, not at the uploading...

Thanks for your help in advance!

I have recently installed the trial version of RECAP360 and am getting exactly the same problem.  ER0108 appears at 99% upload.

My project is 146 images taken with a DJI Phantom 4 Professional drone.  1.19GB of data.

I have tried smaller subsets, and it NEVER finishes uploading.

As an expert user of Pix4D, I thought I would try RECAP360.  It is of no use at all if the images can't even be uploaded!

Not impressed by the experience so far...

Peter

My dear friend...

It is sad to say....but the only reason is...the limit is 50, not 250

I was going mad with this, and then I tried with a 36 pictures project and it worked perfectly....but of course an awful disaster of 3d object

So, the only problem, that by the way nobody mention here, because they always talk about 250...is that the real limit is 50

And this is not good because for decent models should be 100 at least...250 of course would be great, but I maybe understand they don´t give us the 250...but at least 100 for a real test would be necessary

SO, PLEASE, PEOPLE FROM AUTODESK

THREE ISSUES

  1. Try to be over here more frequently
  2. Try to give more accurate information, here in the post you talk about 250, but the true is just 50
  3. Try to allow at least 100 if you really want us to be interested in testing your software and hence buying it...

Thanks People from Autodesk....

And Peter, I hope to have helped!

It is absurd they call it ER0108...instead of telling you the problem is the limit

EVEN MORE! I´M SURE THE PROBLEM IS NOT THE LIMIT,....as when you pass the limit it tells you. SO, IT MUST BE SOME KIND OF MISTAKE HERE...

Autodesk , we are calling for your help here....

Is it a mistake? shouldn´t it be 250? would you allow at least 100?....you perfectly know 50 is like nothing even for an small project....

Thanks in advance

Thank you dear dlopezjurado

This helps me from wasting my time re-trying the upload (for the 6th time).  I tried it with many different options, but did not think that a limit of 50 images would apply.  I fully agree with you, this error code is misleading and - most importantly - 50 images is barely enough to model a single building, let alone a serious industrial facility.

My test dataset is a large factory with very complex tanks, pipes, cooling towers and buildings. 1200 images were taken with high overlap and at various angles.  50 images - or even 250, will not even allow a corner of the site to be modelled.

Point clouds and industrial-scale modelling involves BIG DATA.

I echo your call to Autodesk to improve both error handling, and raise the limit of the trial license to a much more useful level for professionals.

I am willing to pay a fee for processing and storage if the model processes correctly.

However, I will certainly not be purchasing this product as it currently stands with these limits.

Regards

Peter

50 photos are very few, to get an acceptable result. you can not test the program, and you can not think of buying it.
