Recently, we noticed black dots showing up in some of the photos after compiling a point cloud. We have a Faro S350 scanner and use ReCap 2023 with the latest patch to compile point clouds. I talked with Faro and sent out the scanner for evaluation. They said nothing is wrong with the scanner and that they have seen similiar issues with other customers using newer versions of ReCap.
Has anyone experienced this with your photo scans? I have tried recompiling scans and I still get black dots. They don't appear in the same photos each time I recompile the data but they do show up in some form on the photos.
